Okay this is the notes for the LD jammmmmmm compo thingy

Your life is currency.

so obviously you have to use your life to get what you want. so, spend your life to get things. 
Variance on WHAT you are could be really good.
What makes your life valuable? Time, Love, Work, Etc.
Making you something other than a person would be fun.

I'd love to do the breaking intro thing, but it doesn't fit EXACTLY with the thing. Well maybe not, maybe you have to tear apart the main character to fix the things you break.
meaning, you are the person. you use your hand, but it's really the main character's hand?
sigh this is hard. Ok. lets keep going. Your life is currency. Your wife is currency oops. Your meaning YOU Life, how you LIVE, is Tradeable for everything involving purchases.
everything you buy must be good.

Your life is current in the Sea.

Maybe you are a slot machine? And you have to get people to play you? That would pretty much nail the theme. Wow, no idea how i could do this, but it is intriguing.
shoot coins out? have people play you? I mean you are dealing with money, maybe have a crowd of people that can put money in your machine?
Have a slot machine for the title screen that you break to start the game. Then the person comes on and whines that you broke the machine. then you click it again and it will enter the game.
Then you are a slot machine and you have to get people to play you? This isn't fun enough. I do like you fighting for money. otherwise you die. Because your life is money. You are a slot machine.
So everything has to be casino themed. music, items, money, etc. 
what do you do, how does the game work? what's funny about a slot machine? winning? have you break the arm off of the machine? maybe if you have no money you die?
What's amusing about a slot machhhhhine? Have a huge thing sit on it? flatten you like a pancake? Incoperate the mouse into playing slot machines while being one? feed other people coins?
hit people with coins? little coins!

In order to become a person again, you have to get someone to win your game.
i like that better than other ideas i've come up with so far. I think i'm going to go with this.

additional notes. I think i'll have the game start with nothing on the screen and have a guy enter left and talk saying hey? hey? where's the game. Oh hi!

DONE-->2. Setup basic program and map creation. (there will be only one room for now)

6.5 Setup a path to escape and win.

	Okay this is my thinking so far, 2 phases. or continuous phasing.
	You have to collect money from the people playing the machines. 
		So people will have to start next to all machines.
	So if they play you, you get money.
	You can also get money by destroying the machines. They will blow up and launch coins everywhere.
	
	Thieves will come and try to take your money. But your life is your money. If you run out of money, you lose.

	Win condition, so if you make a certain amount of money you win. (so survive and collect long enough you win)
	Have the guy inside the machine say things when he gets money. :D
	Maybe when the thieves are coming you will be able to say things to the bad guys who wont be expecting a slot machine to attack them?
	They can hit you and you lose money.
	They can shoot you and you lose money.
	They can pick it up. *see bonus's for more options below.

7. Create NPC's.
8. Create paths to increase chances of being able to win? like things you can do or pickup.
9. Create a way to lose. 
10. Victory screen.
11. Lose screen.
12. Sounds.
13. Music.

Extras: (polish and extras)
*(bonus option: you can kill them and get your loot back + a decent bonus)
Bonus option: gold Loot Thieves (worth more if you kill them)
